My first non-work blogpost
Well now, this is terrifying.
I write all the time in work, where there are people and processes to support me. And whilst I am lucky enough that my personal and professional identities are rarely in conflict, I think I need a space to share my personal views. Not least because shouting my personal views at my partner when they’re trying to watch the telly is, apparently, not an acceptable outlet.
I will try to include references and sources where these have informed my opinions. I will always try to give credit where others have said it better than me already. I will always be open to respectful challenge and will look forward to having my opinion changed sometimes. And I will try to remember to proof-read before publishing – if you try to remember that I went to a comprehensive school during the era when we weren’t taught grammar.
Wish me luck.
